The panorama of electricity consumption in Brazil can be divided into two main types of information: consumption itself and the number of consumers. Such information can be evaluated by region, subsystem, sector, Federative Unit (UF) and contracting environment, in addition to the possible combinations between these dimensions, such as, for example, sectors by subsystem or sectors by region and Federative Unit.
The information on consumption and the number of electricity consumers comes from the SIMPLES system database, while the population data comes from the IBGE.
